Flue Damper Control
A motorized control mechanism regulates the level of exhaust that is expelled from a gas water heater unit.
HTI Technology offers a Motorized Flue Damper control system that is a custom engineered mechanism consisting of an AC synchronous gear motor and a linkage/damper mechanism. The motor portion of the assembly rotates a cam in the linkage that actuates the damper to control the level of exhaust that is expelled from a gas water heater unit. Microswitches in the assembly interface with the water heater control board and the CO sensor to determine the exact positioning of the motor and the damper itself to optimize efficient operation and ensure a clean burn.
- Robust Design
- Quiet operation
- Damper actuation speed controlled through motor selection
- Microswitches determine damper positioning
